Start(up) is a mutual discovery service. Initially we will spend two hours with you either face-to-face (if practical) or via Skype. After those two hours we shall decide if we would spend another two days with you for a more in-depth discovery. The outcome of the discovery would be a plan and recommendation of other services or activities the young new venture should undertake. The focus of Start(up) is on the technology and the business opportunity of the new venture. The initial two hours are free of charge; the extension to two days (InnoVaventures decision) would also be free of charge. We can also deliver the start(up) service against payment or in combination with other services against equity.
InnoVaventures organizes laboratory experiments where the function and performance of high-expectation start-ups are evaluated. The results of experiments give entrepreneur candidates, financiers and policy makers a deeper understanding of the actual workings of real-world new markets. Experiments point out how high-expectation entrepreneurs should cultivate market outcomes, which behavior should guide trust building between the formers and their potential financiers, and how policy makers should design and test “rules of the game”.
