Start(up) is a mutual discovery service. Initially we will spend two hours with you either face-to-face (if practical) or via Skype. After those two hours we shall decide if we would spend another two days with you for a more in-depth discovery. The outcome of the discovery would be a plan and recommendation of other services or activities the young new venture should undertake. The focus of Start(up) is on the technology and the business opportunity of the new venture. The initial two hours are free of charge; the extension to two days (InnoVaventures decision) would also be free of charge. We can also deliver the start(up) service against payment or in combination with other services against equity.

InnoVaventures organizes laboratory experiments where the function and performance of high-expectation start-ups are evaluated. The results of experiments give entrepreneur candidates, financiers and policy makers a deeper understanding of the actual workings of real-world new markets. Experiments point out how high-expectation entrepreneurs should cultivate market outcomes, which behavior should guide trust building between the formers and their potential financiers, and how policy makers should design and test “rules of the game”. The Academy provides students with the opportunity to explore entrepreneurial ideas and develop practical entrepreneurial skills to be implemented in an “incubator without borders” environment and turned into high-expectation start-ups (“entrepreneurial growth companies”). The outcome of the Experimental Lab session is a “better” business plan that has been challenged in multiple dimensions.

We stimulate and enable people and organizations to creatively search for breakthrough ideas for the new technologies, products and business value. Based on the outcome of our services Start(up) and Team(up) we will (case by case) offer to cover some of our service offerings as seed funding. Above and beyond in very special cases we will fund the incubation phase of the selected innovative projects for the development and commercialization of the selected projects. Together with our collaborative partners we offer competitive terms of using the VentureBator infrastructure (office space, computing lab, accounting and legal services, business networking).
